I have a big soft spot for this simple, yet elegant style of wedding photograph. I chose to highlight the emotion of the bride by cropping in on her as she hugs the groom from behind. Creating a custom black-and-white finish makes the color not distract the viewer's eyes, which enhances the viewing experience. It also brings out the textures in her lace dress details, while the background is soft behind them.
The Manor House is a historic mansion built in 1917 that is now on 6 acres of property overlooking the Dry Creek Canyon. It has a stately look with its tall white pillars in the front and elegant touches throughout. The outdoor ceremony location peeks through the hills of the canyon to downtown Denver, connecting the venue with the foothills and city at the same time. There are several indoor and outdoor options to choose from, which is always helpful with Colorado's unpredictable weather.
