Wedding photography at Denver Museum of Nature & Science

If you're looking for a unique wedding experience in the heart of Denver, the Museum of Nature & Science should be high on your list of potential venues.

It has indoor and outdoor ceremony options for your nuptials.  The indoor location is a long hall with incredibly high glass ceilings and windows along the side.  It turns into a very cool reception venue, which shines (literally) when you have extra up lighting to add color and mood.  The outdoor venue on a veranda overlooking the grounds has some stylish tarps that help shield your guests from the often sweltering summer sun.  The science and nature nerds can explore the exhibits for some truly unique photos.  I am a huge biology buff (that was my degree from university), so this kind of setting gets my creative wedding photography juices going.  Then you can go outside with the bridal party for some more scenic photos with the greenery and fountains.

In this amorous photo of the couple, I chose to spotlight the bride and groom's expressions by cropping in on their heads.  I like to create a variety of photos during the portraits, sometimes showing really wide landscapes and sometimes very close up.  I turned the image into black and white to help the viewer see the loving emotions between the couple.
