Why we North Americans call it &#8216;fall&#8217; is apparent in a few of the shots.  I guess in Australia there aren&#8217;t many deciduous trees that have a need to bare themselves in any hurry, so &#8216;autumn&#8217; is more appropriate.  However, Canberra is definitely a place where lots of these trees were planted and the night cold sends them into a coordinated colour smorgasbord in April and May.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_3LcyA8iAxjM\/TFAnEJUZtAI\/AAAAAAAAFgs\/n7kGbp4gOls\/s1600\/MarkCreeryPhotography01.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"cursor: pointer;
