The Meadows at Marshdale has a rustic, casual charm about it, with an elegant look despite its ranch heritage. There are some beautiful areas to get married here, including the Red Barn and the Mountainside Arbor. The barn was built in 1958 and was used on the farm, and it is a perfect backdrop for wedding photos.
In this image, I decided to do a play on the selfie since this couple has most of the photos of the two of them looking like this. Since the groom is really tall he's never really needed a selfie stick when traveling. As I'm not using a phone to take professional photos, we made it look like he was holding the camera to take the shot. As a wedding photographer it's my job to think outside the box and create meaningful images that speak to the couple, and not just pose the couple to do what I want. Definitely check out the Meadows at Marshdale if you're looking for a venue close to Denver.
